Rainy Day Garden Snacks

We love rainy days at Green Seedlings, one of our favorite things to do is cook. Put on our favorite TV show and get cozy with a new recipe.

For the most part, we always have frozen dough in our freezer, whether it is left over from pizza night, or focaccia bread. For this recipe, we had left over pizza dough from Jamie Oliver’s recipe. The dough works every single time. You can find the recipe Jamie Oliver Pizza Dough.

  1. rainy day garden snacksMake your dough of preference or take your dough out of the freezer
  2. Select your toppings
    1. We use whatever we have, for example- our chives were blossoming, we added those, along with some leftover veggies we had in fridge (broccoli, peppers, radishes).
  3. We rolled the dough out very thin, added some olive oil and our toppings. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and any seasonings you would like.
  4. Place your dough on a greased cookie sheet, we had cornmeal for a little crunch:
  5. Bake in the oven at 375 Fahrenheit for 20 or so minutes or until cooked through
  6. We also make a dipping sauce on the side, very simple:
    1. Olive oil
    2. Crushed garlic
    3. Pepper flakes
    4. Grated parmesan
